| Our new home on wheels |

| It has heated floors for those cold Arkansas winters. |
Getting antsy to head out of town but don't really have a plan for this summer. We took a giant leap and upgraded our RV with a look toward retirement. We purchased a 2015 Tiffan Phaeton, Jeff's dream RV. It's quite "over the top": 40 ft. diesel with a dishwasher, fireplace, king size bed and washer and dryer. And it still has the bunk beds for the girls. So even if we are out traveling when they are in college we can go visit them and they can stay with us. The fireplace is my favorite "accessory"! Jeff and I already stayed one night in it the day we bought it to make sure we knew how to work everything before we drove it off the lot. It is amazing; I can't wait to head on out.
The reason we can't decide where we are going is because we still haven't decided if we have to redo our map. We had a map that we filled in as we visited each state (or Canadian province). We are discussing whether we have to start over with this RV. We had visited all but 8 states. We kinda want to start over just because it would be fun.

The best feature of the whole RV. Puts out heat if you need it,
otherwise it's just for ambiance. |
We are going to start out the summer by heading to our place in NW Arkansas. Jeff took the boat up there about a month ago so we can travel together in the RV and tow our car. So I think the plan at this point is to spend a week in Arkansas and while we are there decide where we are headed. The girls like traveling more than sitting and we really do need to put the new RV to the test like we did when we took the previous one to Alaska - make sure everything works okay. We've talked about going to Nova Scotia - the destination we had to abort because of problems at the border a few years ago.
Tomorrow is the last day of school for the girls, Friday for me. I can't wait to get this year's adventure under way.
